Default new to ls1 tech

I'm a bracket racer in the phoenix area. my 98 z first went in the 12's after the long tubes and tci converter (3800). I now run in the 50's consistently with an edge 3500 converter. I have sheared teeth on the stock pinion 3 times in the last year and now have Yukon gears (3.73). My best time is 12.36 at 108 with a 1.61 60', about 2 weeks ago with an 1800 da. Anyone know of a tune that makes our cars deadly consistent?

There isn't a special tune that will make your car run deadly consistent, but im sure you could take the car up the a local shop (preferably a sponser on here) and get a really good tune to suit your needs. An stalled auto should run consistent anyways.

Yeah, kinda what I'm doing. I had a tune in it that pulled 5 degrees of timing out of it and it slowed it down a little. I'm getting it tuned friday and going to the track that night. Sean at top gear motorsports is tuning it. those numbers are with the car shifting at 5700 so we are going to bump that up.

It's really hard on our cars for consistency due to the heat soak. I would run a electric water pump that you can toggle on and off with the engine off as well as fans. Get your engine temp to the same temp each time will add to your consistency.

i hear that. I do notice that my car chases the intake air temp instead of the weather.
