I was the first one to run in the left lane, this time was my second run of the day. Then the track turned shitty and I couldnt get traction for anything.

 

O yea street tires at 35 psi.

Lots of traction issues, the track I was at is a really bad track. I launched at about 1200 rpm. I should be going to tulsa soon it is a way better track, hoping for better times than that.

 

Very nice times for pretty much zero mods! Well done! With a better 60ft you would have been even lower!

 

Just a lid on radials and it ran that? Got a video? Not saying it can't be done but A4 cars stock with those mods and no tune or extras just don't do it.

 

Oh here we go again... the whole a4 vs m6 thing THERE THE SAME DAMN CARS a4's m6's stock for stock its a drivers race.....

 

You have to remember the M6 can get a better 60ft than the A4 stock to stock.But look what my A4 did w/ little mod's.

I beat 2 of the ls1 m6's around here before but we are back and forth most of the time.

 

Thats not true at all. Mine went 13.01 with just a lid on 245/50/16 street tires in pretty good air and I was spinning. If I could have hooked a little more than it definitly would have gone 12s

 

Anything is possible yes. But still remains a M6 can take off harder due to more RPM's on the launch. I have seen some with similar mods dip into the 12's but not on radials and A4. Do a search and post up the amount you find! I managed a 13.2@106 same way. I added some good mods and upped the power and even went to DR's only to get 12.9@109. I just couldn't get any stall speed out of my converter but now I have the 3600 stall.


An M6 will almost always run more MPH unless something is messed up and or ET better if they can drive. Maybe he has alot of weight stripped out or something.

I dont see why everyone on here is bashing the guy instead of saying congrats. The guy did something good with his car.. theres no reason to doubt him he has no reason to come on a board and lie to anyone. I was there also and can vouch for him. Coincidently I ran my best ever that same day, 12.99 at 107.94 with just a lid and aftermarket flowmaster knockoff.
