To the op, I'll tell you what..
Scan that time slip and post it.
I will take you on your word that your only mods are a lid and no muffler.
If you can do that I will gladly apologise to you and anyone else I may have offended.

grats man I said the same thing about 12's but with the mods I am planning I think it'll be more like a solid mid to low 12 where I stop modding. I don't want a cage in my daily driver. So I swear nothing better than 11.5 More power leads to wanting more and more. Quit it before it begins!!

The best I can squeak out so far is a 13.19 Just a lid and I still have an ls1 intake and crappy street tires. I can barely break 2.2 60 ft in part to bad track prep. I figure the intake is worth a tenth or two and a mph or two. I figure an intake and drag radials since auto's and dr's seem to go together like firearms and ammo. Then I should be a bit into the first big magic second barrier for our cars.

Nice run. A lid and no muffler will net about 20hp on a Z. Thats about 370hp at the crank, with a nice well-worn motor. Figure in the DA and vehicle weight is key and it's not too hard to believe the numbers. I've been seeing some full bolt-on cars on this site trapping 114-115.

To see the other extreme for great runs like this, John, look at me. I ran a 13.9 at 103 in terrible DA (I'm guessing here, mid 90's temp) and no traction with about 330rwhp. Then on the street a few weeks later I run dead even from a stop with a Z with similar mods to me who I've personally seen run a 12.86 at 109 at a different track. Shows how important weather and traction is to all cars at any particular track. I need to find a track in So Cal to run times like some of you guys.

Lol, I'm all about being cool man. No but seriously, seeing these numbers from a basically stock z makes me wonder what my car will pull in a 1/4. Haven't been able to get to one yet.

Thunder valley blows bad all I did was freaking spin my best time was 13.39. My times are all over the place, im going to have to buy some drag radials.

Nice run!! Get that 60' down it'll go even faster. Hell my car ran a 12.88 and a 12.65 back to back with my relocation brackets!
