What would i hit? 12's?
Hi i have a 2002 Trans am with stock 241 heads and Ls6 intake.
i live maybe 30 mins away form the gulf of mexico.
so i assume the density is 0...?
The Ta is a A4
and it has this weird KN filter kit that suppose to give it 15 horses.
I just ordered a set of new headers (long tubes) and a new off road y pipe and a cut out.
i was wondering with these would i hit a high 12? or a low 13?

What gears ?? 323's or 273s ? Probably with 323's . I dont think the 273's with a stock torque conv. will do it .

im not sure....
well after looking around i think i mgiht have those pesky 273s
ouch i didnt know i had that much low of a gear ratio.
i need to change those out.

If you do a lot of D/D I would get a set of 342's or a rear from a 6 speed car ( 342s stock ) I have 373s but its not my d/d . @ 2500rpms at 65mph .I had 273's and I went through the traps at the end of 2nd gear

I dont think 2.73's would hurt you as much as everyone thinks. I have a diablo tune, exhaust, lid, and trans cooler on the stock converter and ive ran a best of 13.0 @ 107.9 with a 2.0 60ft spinning bad.
Id say if your car is running tip top, and you catch and go, 12's are very possible. Theres plenty of guys here running 12's with 2.73's. Also, do you have a WS6?

Im pretty sure all ram air a4 cars have 3.23 gears i know my 02 ws6 does. But as long as you can get the launch right you should be in the 12s my car with lt, ory, gmmg, lid, and tune hit 12.74 at 110 i had to pratice the launch though cause i have street tires. Oh yea i have a open baffled hood i got a true ram air kit from fast toys and it worked great i picked up just under 3mph and just over a tenth prob wont work with your k&n intake though. But remeber practice makes pefrect a lot of the time a driver mod can make all the difference.

Like said before, you may or may not. Yes theoretically you should be in the 12's but there are a ton of guys out there with similar mods that are stuck in the 13's. There's only one way to find out.
