What gears do you have because you should be in the 12's??? Something not so expensive like a manual cutout for that muffler along with a pulley and FTRA/SSRA should do the trick

Keep us updated.Good luck on your 12s pass. If you did subframes,STB remember you added weaight like it really gonna make a differance. If you did free mods,P&P TB,Magnaflow catback back. Lets take a poll on what people thinks it gonna run..Iam gonna say 12.82@107mph.. If you take out your spare tire and jack with 1/2 tank or less Iam saying 12.78-12.79 107/108 mph..

I would do the bump stop mod to the tb also for you can get full throttle out of your tb. The tb Iam P&P Iam doing the bump stop mod also.

I thought about doing the bump stop mod at the track because my car has been in the shop since Wendsday getting the goodies. I hope to run 12.7 that would be sweet I think I am going to get a new torque arm and maybe a hundered shot next week.

LOL at the comments of trying to cut a better 60' on a stock stall. I have 3.23 and 555r's and I dead hook every time. 20 passes with that setup best 60' is 1.96x.

I agree w/ ditching the flowcrapper though. Somehow your missing power up top. We run near identical 1/8 time but my 1/4 is 12.9x @108 and I only have a mail order tune.

All the stuff is on it and it was dynoed tuned this morning 348 rwhp 353rwtq. Still only managed at damn 13.046 @ 107. 60 ft was a 1.95. WTF ahhh. I am frustrated. I hooked almost everytime.

I think I need to get a stall. I am trying to convince the wife I need a shot of NOS.

GET A STALL!!!!!
-You'll run 12's for sure then.

Stall/gears/tires/tune! LOW 12's to High 11's with some weight reduction. JMO!
^^^^Cam and Spray... anywhere from Mid 11's to High 10's depending on driver, race weight, traction, etc.

Good Luck

BTW) Tell the wife the car broke on you and it's gonna need a new device called Nitrous to keep it running from here on out. Oh and tell her it takes about $50 everytime you have to go to the store to refill it, But it makes the car LAST Longer and drive better... haha
-Maybe she'll buy it.

She is to smart for that, but she wants her own Z now.

I tried to buy a 98 yesterday with an LS6 transplant that had 20,000 miles on the motor. Kid put it in the wall at the track right in front of me. Driver front fender then the rear quarter on the drivers side. Kid and dad were fine and dad was joking and said hey Steven want to buy a motor I said yea. Made an offer and gave them my number.

Ya a stall will get mid 12s. Did you ever look in to what gear you have.. GU2 is 273s and GU5 is 323s. Did you improve on your 1/8th too.

I have a 98 Z28 A4 and went 12.86@110mph with ASP pulley, P&P TB, SLP Air Lid, 3" y-pipe to a cutout and manaflow muffler, HP Tuners (street tune). I have 4 215/60/16 Primewell tires on my car and my 60ft was a 1.91 So it doesnt take that much.......That was without headers. I just added headers and went to the local 1/8th mile track and went 90.51mph, before the headers was 87mph.....Plus my car weighs 3420 with me in it (250)....It could also be that you need weight mods......

I took out the spare and jack. I think I am going to take out the back seats and whatever else I can this weekend for pony wars. I will be running at a different track and see if times improve.
