Default 12.6@114

Finally got my car to the track after the most recent mods....

Was about 35 degrees outside, and with a few runs I couldn't figure out where to launch at...

ran a few 12.62-64 range at 113/114 with 2.0 and 1.95 60's.

Car has VRX5 cam, FAST intake/TB, 12 bolt/4:10s, drag radials and LCAs.

I'm sure it's capable of low 12s easy with this combo, I'll just need more seat time.

absolutely! you just need to get used to the settup. you might try a good set of slicks. you could definately launch higher in the rpms.

I'm running 275 Mickey T drag radials...the first time out with them I was getting low 1.8 60's revving up to around 4k and slipping the clutch...I just never put together a complete run lol

Each time I got a good 60' I missed a gear

With that combo, 1.7's should be easy on a well-prepped track. Try a 4500 launch with a quick slip. That cam will probably need some RPM/clutch to prevent a bog off the line. The second the clutch starts to engage, floor it to prevent bogging; the control will be in the clutch. What clutch are you running?

Those low 1.8 passes would have been low 12-second passes most likely, probably 12.3 range with that trap speed if I had to guess.

Also, what was the DA?

No idea what the DA was yesterday

It's not a stock clutch- the original owner was going to put a blower on it, so he put the 12 bolt in along with a heavy *** clutch. Again, I have no idea what type it is...

I'm also having trouble deciding where to shift RPM wise...

on my dyno sheet, the power peaks at 6250rpm, but stays flat until like 6700rpm...my raptor is set to 6500, but I often shift a little before it goes off...

thoughts?
