On a side note, I went to MIR this past October. I've added the Torquer 2and some Nitto DR since that trip to Mason Dixon, and at MIR I couldn't pull under a 2.0 60 ft.

I didn't add it in my last post. My 1.8X was with an A4 with the stock torque converter, stock 3.23's and street tires. It had about 125k on the odometer, and the only things that were done to it, were an MTI Lid, LS6 intake and true duals. Did it at Mason Dixon in Boonsboro, MD. If I think about it tonight, I'll hunt up the slip.

And did you still have stock stall when you added the cam?
Theres no doubt in my mind 1.8x is possible on stock stall with few mods but only in great race weather. Roll out has to be excellent. I bet those duals helped out alot with torque off the line.

This was on hoosier drs. They are my fav tire after trying mt et st radials and mt et st biasply. The radials give me more mph and overall seem to be better for me. The CAI I have makes a huge difference as well. I havent tuned the car since the headers+ory so I think theres just a little left on the table. Next is a ss3600, ss4000, or pt4000 stall. Havent decided which one yet.
Dude if you dont have a CAI kit I recomend one. Heres my results if your curious...https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...oof-works.html

I want to have my ss tuned and dynoed since i have headers and new catback... but I am just going to wait till after the cam and stall..

I'd have to hunt up that particular slip to get the exact DA for that run, but it was a cool day in November and it was between 100 and 600 most of the day. I still have the stock stall in, even now...cam and all. The 3600 is still setting in the basement waiting for my schedule to free up long enough to drop it in. May not even happen before the rally I'm in this summer.

Have you ever heard of shocking or bumping the converter. My friends father owned old ford drag team car. Bob Glidden showed him, he told that Bob sat in the car with a 3500 stall and bumped it to 4800 never chirped the tires. Now he said put pressure on the converter like normal at the bottom yellow let off pressure them stab it back. Its shocks the fluid inside converter and the stator for that moment of inertia. I have never been able to try it I have had manual trans.
