Default Does my car have enough for 11.7's???

Good Evening all,

My question is relatively simple, but am not entirely sure if it belongs in the thread.
Vehicle is a 2000 Trans Am.
Mods are: 3200 Yank converter, b&m shift kit, 3.73 gears, ftra, ls6 intake, slp lid, k&n filter, smooth bellows, 1 7/8 pacesetter longtubes, tsp ory, hooker catback, free mods, ported throttle body, lcas and nitto 555rs.

My best time without the nitto tires was 12.35 @ 113.5, I don't know what to do besides weight reduction to take me further without a vast sum of money.

Opinions are appreciated, thanks

I am confident that 11.9s are mine just because of the added traction I will recieve with th Nittos on, haven't ran yet with them. I really wanna nail it to prove a female mustang enthusiast it's cheaper to do it with a GM.

I believe your car will be real close to 11s or low 12s if you had a good set of stickys out back of it Good luck next time.

I think your a little shy, judging by your mph. If you get in some better air you might be in range..

I meant to get in cooler air for some better DA. A ported TB will help some too, and is easy to do.

You achieved a 1.7 60' before you had the drag radials?

1.75 60 yes, with 315 goodyear eagles, I still don't see how it's possible since i've NEVER gotten better than 1.9 on those tires.

I saw 5 rwhp on the dyno before and after porting my throttle body if this helps, a worthwhile mod to me.

I am confused by this statement. You are saying you achieved on a 1.75 60' on Goodyear Eagle tires then you say you have never gotten better than a 1.9 "on those tires"? What am I missing here?

Ah, I understand. Still I have never seen anyone get that kind of 60' on regular rubber. The best I have done is high 1.8s. Most impressive.

My friend can REALLY drive, the upper and lower control arms and other suspension mods I believe helped a ton with that 60 ft. I think that is the sole reason behind it.
