I was expecting to do better at the track this day... Got a best of 12.93 on street tires.
My trans was on the down side, broke next day when i took it out for a spin.
Since then, I added a below, lid, cut out, Nittos 555, Tb bypass, trans cooler, Debaffled the scoops, and As of right now in the shop getting a built trans with 3800Vig Put it in.
I hope to smoke my buddies 480hp termi... Hope for low 12's high 11's

now it has all that plus, DR's, Lid, K&N, debaffled scoops, bellow, TB bypass, trans cooler... Built 4l60e and stall is being done as we speak.
Sorry for all the confusion...
Just think i had enough hp to be closer to mid 12's

Just seems like he needed some help in the driving/traction dept. That car should be running 11's easy with that trap.
The Stall will definitely help your ET a lot though. You'll probably run mid/low 12's if everything goes well.
So i went to the track after breaking in the trans and stall, with my new nittos 555r's.
I thought these where suppouse to hook as everyone told me they would.
My times 16.1 et with a 2.1 60//// 15.7 et 2.3 60/// And the one pass i did hook i let out thinking i was gona keep on spinning. 12.6 et 1.9 60 @ 106.
I dont get it, does the stall make me loose Trap speed? When stock i was at 110 trap...
Im Pissed!!!
I know I wont see much Improvement as times get a lil faster than stock, and not hoping to see 11's but atleast a low 12.
What em i doing wrong? I have to admit, its a totally different car after the stall. So if you have a stall in your ride, please shime in, Thanks.
Also, you have to do a really good burnout with them. They like to be heated up a lot in order to hook.
I'm thinking those two things may have been your problem, but chime in and let me know.
What happened to your transmission? How many miles did you have on it?
And LOL at the announcer just calling it a Firebird and a Mustang. Big difference between a Mustang and a Cobra and a Firebird and a Trans Am.

My trans had 127,xxx miles when it went out, the next day after this vid.
Just dissapointed with my times and trap now, WTF is what i also said.
a BIG factor that can drop traps drastically and kill et's is density altitude , learn what density altitude is and start paying attention to it - there are density altitude calculators on the web and many can link to local track weather conditions.
your in Texas so its hotter than heck I am imagining , up here I have seen traps drop by that much if its 60 instead of 45 for example but density altitude(DA) also looks at track elevation and relative humidity .
up here good racing weather is -500 to -1500 below sea level DA , I am guessing where you are 1000 to 1500 above sea level would be pretty good but ask around and if your looking for personal best et's go when weather is favorable to PB's - expect the track to be busy , it usually is on good weather nights
