lol i wouldnt say that, but i was quite surprised at the .030 light with the stock 2.73's. The car loves to run back to back times it looks like, no traction issues at all. Makes me not want to change anything at all, but a gear swap will come very soon.

Not gonna need a tune by frost, when I'm ready just gonna get the guys at race proven motorsports to tune it, literally only 5 mins from me.

Excited to see its potential on stock stall

great times for mods and pretty crappy DA to boot.

have you considered doing convertor instead of gears ? everything I have been reading on here shows a lot better et drop that way , a couple tenths vs half a second or so and looking at your 60 foots a convertor should knock at least 3 tenths off right there.

my most recent addition has 2.73's like yours along with long tubes , no cats gmmg exhaust , slp lid & bellows and I have 4 sets of mounted dr's probably will run it on mt's this fall when it cools I would be psyched if it does what yours did stock gears and convertor.....

Yes I have considered getting a converter many times with this car. This is only my 3rd time running it and it just seems to pick up the more comfortable I get in it. The car just rides and drives so smooth and docile, you can't even hear it at a red light. I'm not trying to change the drivability by throwing a converter in there, atleast not yet.

Just gonna go with some 3.90 gears and up the shift points a little and see where im at.

If u had to pick a converter it would be a PTC most likely, check them out

What was your 60'? I have an '01 SS. I haven't had it on a quarter mile yet. But in the 1/8th it went 8.15 @ 87.3mph on a 1.84 60'. All the car has is: Yank 2800, vette servo, factory 3.23s, long tubes w/ xpipe/turndowns, lid, and a dyno tune. The car was on KDWs. So, I had to stall about 1500 and roll in to the converter. I hope to run 7.80s on a sticky tire and get a low 12 slip when I hit the 1/4

Your car sounds strong. Get a converter and gears. That's been, by far, the best mod I've done yet! I LOVE my 3.23s in my car btw. You can go 3.42s and still be OKAY on the hey probably

FYI the drivability on my Yank feels better than the stock junk that was in it. Also it woke up soooooo much.

60' was 1.92, I ran basically the same 1/8th as you, speed as well. I wouldn't be surprised if you went 12.20's in decent air and a sticky tire.

I hope to be low 12's too with a bit more gear than yours but still stock converter. I know it sounds crazy but I think 11.99 isn't out of the question, we get supreme air around here in october

I ran your trap/et/da into a da calculator for ****$ and grins earlier and correcting to sea level gave a 12.3 @112. up here in october you can find -1000 to -1500 da if you pay attention to weather plug it into your da calculator and go on a night with perfect conditions ( low temps , low humidity ,high barometric pressure)

I always got great et's with my previous platform ( w body) when the da's were below sea level ( thats the only time I ever went to the track lol) and always had people saying my cars were factory freaks - DA is huge , I hope to make my first passes in an f body this fall and will be watching for your updates , I think you will need a thing or 2 to hit that 11.99 but would love to see you prove me wrong lol.

On what magical Dyno did you make 370whp/390wtq with Bolt-Ons through an Auto?

Good run op, you have a strong car to be running that in a basically stock auto w/ 2:73's!

The car is apparently a freak..... The dyno was on a dyno com with the converter locked. Unlocked it made 355whp. Didnt make the numbers up man, just what the dyno spit out lol. I know most auto cars have 2.73s. Maybe the shorter rear gear lets it crank on the dyno a little harder??? Idk. I just know on a tire, this thing should get in the 7.80s. I think that is pretty stout for a bolt on car lol

Where you launching hard or rolling into the throttle? Thats pretty impressive times given the DA and being so stock. My times in my sig was at cecil like -800 da before a tune, and the throttle cable not being adjusted properly after the ls6 swap.( it was only opening 85% thanks to RPM not adjusting it after the install =)). I can't wait to get mine down there this year and see what she will do.. Oh an by the way if your interested in a tune you should check out Andrew from CSP in west chester he did mine picked up a bunch of power first pull was 282 rwhp final was 322 rwhp and 293rwtq to 333rwtq. Was really impressed plus he is alot more reasonable then RPM I think hes 300 for a dyno tune compared to RPM being 450 i believe.
