Default 12.7 @ 117

Went to the track after doing some mods and came back a little disappointed. I was really hoping for 11's.
Car has cam, full exhaust, and 150shot on a 10bolt so I wasn't cutting any good 60's
DA was 6200
2.5 60'

My question is does this seem on par or should I be looking into my setup

I'd say if you get some decent drag radials and cut even a 2.0 60' that you'll be into the 11's. Holy cow on that DA though man, that sucks! You'd have a 10 second car in good DA but your trap mph is already in the 11's. What tire are you running? Is your car an a4 or m6? If it's an auto then I wouldn't worry as much about your 10 bolt, I have one buddy that was cutting 1.42 on it and a couple others in the 1.50's. GL man and keep us posted.

Good mph for that da. Get some Mickey Thompson et streets. I think for every .1 off your 60ft, it takes .2 off your et.

Keep at it!

like these guys said ^ if its an auto put some sticky tires on it and let it eat ! your trap already is looking mid 11's if you can fix that 60 foot.

Nitrous works great to counter terrible da's too

You're not going to brake that rear end with 60' times like that. Once you get down under low 1.8's I'd start worrying a little on a m6, but I would definitely try launching to at least cut a 2.0. Btw, a stock LS1 usually cuts 2.0-2.1 60'on average so you will be fine there for sure. I would think even if you launched fairly easy, then once you were out about 15' and floored it that you should easily get into the 11's. Good luck man and let us know how you do next time.

I'll be at the track this Friday and see if I can't cut those 60's down, what are most of you guys launching at and does the car bog down on any of you

I launch at 4500 and slip the clutch ever so slightly, but my cam is a dog down low and peaks at 6100. If I launch below 4k I usually bog.

I would do like Scotty said and slip the clutch, then when you get out about 15 feet or so just give it hell lol. As long as you aren't launching at high rpm's and dead hooking then you shouldn't break it. But if you dead hook and launch at high rpm's then it's a ticking time bomb. Let us know how you do Friday, I think you'll be in the 11's for sure.
