Default Into the 12's...

Last year basically stock I ran 13.4 in june. With new 90mm ported fast intake, 92mm ptm tb, reduction of complete ac system and Powerbond pulley I ran 12.7 this past Wednesday. Both times we're in late June and in the 90's; driving to the track, putting slicks on and racing right away. Looking to keep drilling down and work into 11's. Every little bit counts. I've even heard alot of ppl taking front sway bar out for .10-.20 et reduction. What should be next to get into 11's.

Exhaust like Red and HCI said.

More weight reduction, suspension and a torque converter if your auto or a good clutch and a stout rear end if your stick.

So we still don't know whether its an M6 or Auto.

Do you have a stall?

Aftermarket clutch?

M6 on a stock 10 bolt really limits you a stalled auto not so much.

Yup a quality 3600 to 4000 stall with the proper tune should get you close to 11's.

An SS 3600 dropped my ET by half a second. A good stall is a must.

I can't agree more! I have an ss3600, just ran 12.3 @ 108 at my local track. Just have stall, S60 3.73 & SLP lid.

All that with a stock converter, what a waste.

Get a converter in that thing and find the power you're supposed to have.

That's a high 11s in a decent DA car.

PT4000 Yank if you don't plan on putting nitrous to it, SS4000 if it's a possibility.

Edit; has that tune been touched up for all those new parts? MPH seems low, but probably just due to converter.

Yea computer was sent out and installed after all parts. Sounds like converter would get me into high 11's as mentioned. Will all my stock bottom end parts hold up after installing aftermarket stall?

Stall won't have any affect on your bottom end, you have plenty of 'room' for more power.

As stated the stock bottom end is not a concern. I would be more concerned with the heat added to the transmission. Pick up a transmission cooler. I think you can find some off of Amazon for $50 or so. Also, I believe there is one being sold with a TCI torque converter in the classifieds. You might want to check that out.

I would also step down to some ET Street Drag radials, I can almost guarantee you are losing more than you are gaining with those on the back.

Plenty of ET streets in the 1.5x 60s to warrant their use instead of slicks. I would only use slicks on a mild build M6 car, waste on an auto.
