Out of curiousity, what are the gains, in ET/MPH, that you have seen from losing the flowmaster muffler.

I don't think they are losing power, they are just not gaining anything after spending like 350 dollars on the exhaust system!! Which is very sad from a company like Flowmaster. But there 1 Chanber race mufflers flow great and sound great with TD, I am gtting those in place of my bullets

I see no numbers still. I want to see numbers from the track by just swapping catbacks. Such as Flowmaster to another catback or muffler.

I am just curious. The person who had my car before me put a flowmaster catback on it. I am installing LT/ORY/Cutout to bypass that at the track though. I just wanted to know if anyone has tested ET/MPH with flowmaster catback vs another brand.

with headers and ory I have seen a 25 hp gain using the cutout comparared to it being closed on a flowmaster setup. I have heard they are worse than stock. But if it sounds good then the cutout will do great and still have the great sound. As for the timing tricker, thats a very tochy thing. Many people feel strongly that it is a waste of money and can actually hurt ur times. I really dont know myself.
