well it took me long enough but i finally broke the 12's last night. made 3 12 passes with my best being a 12.6 @110.

and just so you guys know...lower psi DOES make a difference

BTW I thought your 12.6 was @ 111.5 or 111.x

I Know you got 111 sometime. What was your 60' on the 12.6 run?

Im just messing with you. My car with cam and headers only went 12.8 so youre doing ok. Eric should have the vid up soon, hes already got a couple up of the others.

My friend went out yesterday. He had the red t/a that ran a 13.4 He was saying that several other ls1 seemed to be running slow times but looks like you had good times. He thought it might be something to do with the humidity. Was anyone else off yesterday?

 

The only other LS1 I saw that was running soler than him was a Blue T/A that was almost stock w/ a 3.73 and HPP3 runnin 13.5-13.4's

There was a Red Z w/ Headers and Intake running 12.7, Mark Running 12.6 w/ Cam and Headers, 396 w/ 200 Shot Runnin 11.6, Stock Cube w/ Heads/Cam Vortech running 11.3 @ 121's, A T/A w/ Nitrous and headers, 4.10 that wouldn't shift into 5th b/c of clutch running 12.3 @ 106, and a Stock A4 w/ Stall, 3.73, and Procharger running 11.0, Almost all w/ new best, so It seemed pretty Frikkin Good to me last night.

 

not that i saw...i messed up a few times and ran a 13.4 and a 13.9 but hey...**** happens

Those are some great times. Too bad next weekend is the last one, I was planning on coming down and running but the car wont be out of the shop they say. I wanted to come up before the turbo went on but I suppose I will be happier then anyway.


The reason he thought something was wrong is because he run the 1/8 at 8.8 when he ran the 1/8 here before headers at 8.7 or better in hotter weather. He was on street tires so that may be the case. Something like was going on with beast.

Thanks for the info guys. BTW I have hp tuners and was hoping someone in memphis new a little bit about it so I could go to luckys and kinda lean it out and set a few other things. Last time I went I was running really rich..
