Ran 12.5@115 on the juice today...

Went to the track today, weather was good, track kind of sucked. I didn't get any NA runs, only got three runs total (I usually go on test-n-tune Wednesday nights, Saturday sucks ***, wait all day to get three runs).
2004 GTO with following mods
150 wet kit NX
homemade CAI
NGK TR6's gapped at .038
Timing Tuner, pulled out 6 degrees of timing, window switch set at 3000 and 5900
intank Walboro 340 fuel pump
3/4 tank of gas (93 octane)
Stock tires at 27 psi in rear, 37 psi front
265lb driver+65 lbs nitrous system, left spare tire in
Everything else absolutely bone stock, including tune, tires, suspension, gears, no other boltons, etc...
short times were horrible, 2.0
Ran 12.5 @ 115mph (GTECH registered 3 mph higher, but .1 slower than timing lights....makes sense since the trap speed is an average over last distance for the 1/4 mile via timing lights, so it should be lower than actual highest speed attained). Track is about 800-900 above sea level elevation (Muncie Dragway, IN.)
car hooked up great, no spin at all, but felt real sluggish off hte line and when the nitrous kicked in at 3000 rpm, it spun (even wheel hopped one run, a 12.7 run). It feels much better on the street, will spin a little when nitrous hits, but NEVER wheel hops...I think with a 3000 stall converter to get into the nitrous MUCH quicker and some tires it will be an 11 second car. It feels like it takes FOREVER to get to 3000 rpm with the auto!!!! I think I may try some nitto's to see if they hold the car when the nitrous hits, make pick up a tenth or so that way. Overall, fairly hapy with results for first run. I will get a tune to see if that helps any...
I would assume that my car runs 13.7-13.8 @101 on motor (based on GTECH from the street)....will run NA when I get a chance. Saw a new 05 GTO, automatic run 13.3 @ 106 twice (with his 14 year old sister in the car), pretty impressed with that car! Seems to be about a 1/2 second faster than the 04's and his was bone stock with 1500 miles (mine has 4000 miles). I am betting that my homemade CAI gain is offset from added weight of nitrous system and using the cold tight gapped plugs...
All the issues I had with my nitrous were due to a "used" timing tuner, put a new one on and it worked great. I tried using less timing retard...5 degrees seemed OK, but when I added more timing (-4 instead of -6) it detonated and blew the dipstick up a little, making sure my coilpacks never rust (sprayed a little oil, nothing big). I still get KR on the street with no timing advance or retard off the bottle, and at -6 timing, I get basically none (about .1) on 150 shot. I will get a tune and maybe desenstisize the Knock Sensors, play with torque management, check timing and fuel and spark to see if we can make things run better on motor and check AF ratio on bottle. I am hoping for 12.0 on Nittos and with the tuning...maybe a little optimistic. I don't want to put a converter or exhaust on the car, because I love it stock in terms of sound and driving....I have a fast Camaro for hillbilly racing, the GTO is too nice of a daily driver to hop it up any further (things that would hurt drivability).
Have the slip here, no scanner.
