True I guess I over looked that... well he is doing some good 60's with 18" wheels

a pair of stock 16 inch wheels, with et streets or the new et streets is the way to go... but I’m not sure how the rear is going to fill after a 4k bump off the line maybe a set of relocation brackets from the lower control arms?

60': 1.847 1/8: 7.790 mph: 91.93 1/4: 12.033 mph: 116.72
60':1.83 1/8: 7.887 mph: 91.11 1/4: 12.153 mph: 116.12
60': 1.911 1/8: 7.902 mph: 91.19 1/4: 12.171 mph: 116.07
60': 1.83 1/8 7.873 mph: 91.51 1/4: 12.117 mph: 16.88
60': 1.884 1/8: 7.977 mph 90.28 1/4: 12.274 mph: 115.35
60': 1.949 1/8: 8.088 mph: 89.99 1/4: 12.390 mph: 115.32

I'd be interested to see a cam doctor readout of the cam that's in there. Seriously, those times and mph are just insane.

I’m SI w/ls1 intake and ET 7.9's in the 1/8th but my MPH is no were near yours

91mph in the 1/8th at those ET’s is a monster... the 1st thing I would do is taking it to another track. Like another guy said...

Maybe an ls6 cam? Custom 117lsa? Rockers? Did you do a car fax on the car? Are you the 2nd owner? Or were you told you were the 2nd owner?

I know you knocked a little weight off... this is going to help ET but the MPH is just high "not high for the et just high compared to the cars mods/hp"

I believe you ran those times…

Taking it to another track would not help him unless he went to MIR or cecil. Any other track in his location is gonna give him a slower time. The track he's going to is one of the best around his area. The 18" rims are helping out with the mph. A sticky 16" might give the car a better E.T. with a lower mph.

i was trapping normal speeds 112mph b4 tues.

the ram air i made w/ the skinnies have done the rest, i have no cam swap or rockers or any valvetrain done.

I posted on another board and said if anyone wants to put the money out for a complete tear down of my motor to show that its stock, thats fine by me

i will have vid shortly weather permitting, im trying for fri nite at atco

You don't know what that car had been through before you. People can tell you what they want. Just because you did not do anything does not mean it isn't there. We will wory about the SI thing later if you care. Just get the thing into the 11s. Once you get fast enough to get on the SI list, then maybe some one can pull a cover and check valvetrain.

when i bought the car it was more stock than wall street!! down to the paper filter and all, everything that has been to the car is by me and no one else

I beleive ya man. My car with SI went 12.2 at island dragway which would be a 12.0-11.9 at atco. I did cut low 1.7 and high 1.6 60ft's though with a 16" ET street. Then after a couple mid 1.6 60ft's I snapped a axel. You might want to start saving for a rear. Then you can run a stickyer tire and lay down a 11 everytime

Yeah SI cars run 11s all day, but what did you trap? Sure as hell not a 117. And don't tell me it is the gear and tires, because there is no way he would hit 12.0 with SI power and those gears and tires. I am not saying it is impossible but not likely. This car would have to be the biggest freak of all. If so I want to see what it will do with FULL bolt ons and a 15" tire.

sounds like me and you both have strong cars..lol you've prob seen the several pages on my 12.7 stock... btw congrats on the times and hope ya get 11s...

thanks

everything minus the ls6 intake and the P&P TB and MAF housing( which i did myself)

look at the bottom of my orginal post... i added a link for my 2 fastest times one a 117 mph and the other is a 116, im hitting consistant 115-116 mph traps

Your car with 340 rwhp + LS6 intake + ported TB and MAF housing just doesn't add up to 12.0 @ 117 mph. Something else must be going on.......

Nice times! It really sucks being that close to 11s and not getting there. Next time just take a **** before you make a run and that should net you .01 But I have to agree, 117mph on 340rwhp doesn't sound right. I dynoed 351rwhp and am only at 113.29mph. What kind of dyno did you dyno on?
