Default Looking for 12's

I have a 2001 6-speed SS my mods are Cold air, jethot LT & Y-pipe (no cats), Magnaflows, Slp sub-frame connectors. I am putting stock springs back on the car because the eibachs are to low for my exhaust. I am looking at going to the track for the first time with the car. I am planning on getting some new tires out back(probably Nitto 555Rs) and I think that 12's are possible. My friend says low 13's, he wants to bet on it. What do you think? Are 12's likely?

Looking at other members times and mods it seems like I should be able to hit a 12 sec run with a decent launch.

Yes you can, providing you can launch decently and be able to shift well enough.

I just realized that you live in Yuma, which is extremely hot region and heat will definitely effect your ET.

looking for 12s? yea, you'll be in the 12s. hell, even as hot as it is right now, i would be happy with a high 12 to low low 13 during the hot times. at like..oh 3am then yea, it would be better even though it only cools off to 90*. hell, i hope you got my pm. get with me sat. we can make some video and you and i can run i'll be able to tell you where abouts your at.

Yeah you should definitly be in the 12's, I got a 13.3 w/ just a catback system, as long as you can pull off decent 60" times you should be fine.
Good Luck
