Default finally in the 12's

Thought I had a lemon for awhile. Here are my mods and times with them.

Lid and magnaflow catback-ran 13.56 best

added 3:42's from stock 2:73's 13.17 best

Added Slp 2600 stall 13.01 best on cool day

Added FLP LT headers and Nittos: Ran 13.01(a few times I ran what would have been in 12's..but was during ET drags and had to let off the gas. Also has been 3000+ DA and temp in 80's

Took out 2600 stall and put in 3400 2.1 Fuddle stall.
First day out with the new stall ran a 12.86 with a DA of around 4000 feet and temp was in mid 80's. I should be able to drop a few 1/10ths with good track prep and cooler temps out. Car is about 3900 pounds with me in it.
Here is the slip

60' 1.788
330 5.249
1/8 8.171
MPH 83.59
1000 10.711
1/4 12.861
MPH 104.87

Nice times!

You and I would be a good matchup...my car runs very similarly.

Times are real close. I was thinking my MPH was low, but yours is almost the same, so looks like the DA could be the MPH factor. You should drop some more when the DA drops.

Congrats on your 12!

How is your car so heavy though? My friend has an 02 Z with 3.23s and is otherwise stock and his weighs just under 3600 pounds.

Car is heavy due to:
I have the Y3F ground fx - probably adds 40 pounds
Full Boxed diamond Sub frame connectors and boxed lca's, STB, DS saftey loop - all together about 80lbs
ME = 300 pounds

Alot of the little things add up...small amp and capacitor in back maybe 15 pounds, billet grill..etc etc but combine them all and the car becomes heavy.
