Default 2004 Gto 12.10@115.2

So, first time running the 1/4 mile, and I made it in. Knocking on the door of the 11's now. I think a converter will get me there.
9:57pm
DA, was 1900+
60'-1.81
330'-5.12
1/8-7.81
mph-91.16
1000'-10.14
1/4-12.10
mph-115.20

Race weight is approx 3900 with me in the car. Mods are as follows.
-Magnacharger with 2.8 pulley(2.9 is stock)
-K&n cone filter
-Magnaflow mufflers and cats
-bfg drag radials on stock wheels (275/40/17)
-Tuning done by Richard at Magnaflow
I will post a scan of the slip in a few minutes.

Most definately the converter will do it!! That 60' aint no where it should be with the amount of HP you're putting out. You should be cutting like a 1.7 or so. Each tenth outta the 60 is 2 tenths outta the quarter.

Yeah, I can't get it any better. I hold it as high as I can against the converter, and it dead hooks. Can't wait to get a new one. Any brand recommendations?

YANK!! They make the best converters on the market, or at least I think so. Put a SS3600 in my 2001 T/A and I absolutely love it. The car could still be a daily driver. Give them a call and they won't steer you in the wrong direction.

I have spoken to them. They recommended a sc3000. I just have seen quite a few others out there for less$. Not trying to short change my car, but I don't want to spend uneccesssary $ either.

Dude, you get what you pay for. The Yank will outperform any other converter out there IMHO. My friend is changing his out as we speak. He got a TCI in there now and is switching to the YANK.

If you don't want to pay the full new price then either find one that someone doesn't want anymore or find one that someone intended to put on and then didn't. I got mine BNIB for $640 instead of $825 from Yank. Just something to think about.
