does this count

i dont have a 1/4 mile track near but i ran the 1/8 over the weekend
this is on street tires and stock gears(3.23) with 2800 stall...bogs outa the whole
60' 2.02
1/8 8.48 @86mph

isnt that around a 12.8-9??? and ive heard thats a pretty good mph...

hopefully with some 3.73 that 60 will be about 1.7 and move down to a 8.0 or so at 89-90mph?

my 1/8 miles are 8.7xx and my 1/4 times are usually 13.4's if that helps i get consistantly crappy 2.0 60 fts w/ street tires.

Given that time in the 1/8th you'd typically run a low 13.1. However, since your MPH is high for the given time, I'd bet you'd either run a 13.0 or possibly eek a 12.99 out of the car. The car definitely has 12 second potential but I think you need to knock just a couple hundredths more off your 60' time to guarantee a 12 second pass. How much power are you putting down? Hoping for 89-90 MPH leads me to believe you're making some decent power. Put some sticky tires on that bad boy and run a low 12.

its an lt1 with nothing but a cam tune 2800 stall and stock gears ignition and fuel...putting in fuel pump and ignition this week...i guess it makes around 330???
im thinkin with the 3.73 id pick up about 2-3 mph
the car jumps off the line then bogs some...so im thinkin about 3 tenths off my 60' with tires and gears...put me around an 8.0

are gears going to helo from a roll at all??? or are they just going to help from a launch??? bc i like running from a roll so am i just going to run outa gear quicker and not pull any harder???
