Default Made it!!

Ran a 12.6 112mph. Ran this Sunday after QTP Race Header install and a tune using HP Tuners on a dyno. Dyno numbers were 360rwhp 385rwtq.
Problem at the track was traction was cutting 2.1 60's and never did get the tires (stock) to hook up out of the hole. For a stock engine with headers and CAI, is impressive! Tires on the way! Then

were these the HVMC qtp headers or were they just the standard stainless steel headers, also you got the 1 3/4 right??

chrs 1313 - they are the race Qtp's, no o2 sensors. And when I had it tuned we did a Speed density tune and removed the MAF from the car. Definitely won't pass smog, but I am going to use it for racing only and just got a non-operation title.

The QTP's are awesome, but I have to credit the tuner that used the HP tuner software to dial in what this motor can really do.
Monday I am off to the track with a new set to MT Street ET's, so I can launch the beast off the line. Given my 12.6 Et and my lousy 60' times I am thinking I can hit 12.3 -12.4, all on a stock motor.
I'll let you know the results.

Raced at Infineon Raceway (Sonoma Calif.) and put down some really consistant numbers. Had my MT ET Streets on for the first time.

1/4 mile ET MPH
1st run 60' 1.924 - 12.606 @ 109.64

2nd run 60' 1.896 12.603 @ 108.98

3rd run 60' 1.933 12.674@ 108.72

4th run 60' 1.92 12.681@ 108.0

5th run 60' 1.937 12.664 @ 108.4

Sorry, I don't have a scanner for my time slips. With a stock tranny, converter and rearend I was really happy with the consistant times.

I made it to the semi-finals (with over 100 cars in street class) then red lighted on the 6th pass, so just shut it down and rolled out.
I loved my 5th run, I redailed to a 12.660 and ran the 12.664 and my r/t was .072. I was running against a Pro-Street 66 Chevelle (they let the pro-street guys run two classes so they can get more runs in) his dial was 12.65 and he ran a 12.7 with a r/t of .076. Nice to smoke the Pro-street guys, it made my whole day!

I talked to a guy running a brand new Z0 6, he was running 11.9's with it and made it to the semi-finals and was right in front of me when he dumped the clutch and puked his rearend all over the track, man I felt really bad for the guy.

Well I ran again tonight at Sacramento Raceway, got to take advantage of this California sun we are having!

I was thinking the same thing. With my mods I dynoed at just under 360 rwhp. I find it hard to believe but I guess anything is possible.
