limped into 12s

Finally...despite a knock sensor code, a bad headwind, an old clutch, stock shifter and untuned.

12.94/106.2/1.84 60' mods in sig I'm thinkin it'll do 12.5 or so when I take care of the details. What do you guys think?

I think you should get 12.5. Especially since you seem like a good driver.

Oh really? I'm in OKC, going to Thunder Valley soon. When did you move to Cali? And were the track conditions bad?

I'm stationed in California. (Marine Corps) I'm back in Iraq at the moment so that was my only time at thunder valley since May of 2005. The right lane has hooked better in all my times there. Just make it early on Sunday if you want to do the test and tune. Gates open about noon. If it's not a busy day it's a blast and you can get in all the runs you want. If it does get busy though, you can bet someone's going to spill **** all over the track a few times and it makes for long waits. I always have a good time when I go just because I don't get the chance that often though.

Oh, Marines huh? I have several friends in the Marine Corp. I really respect that bro. so thanks for serving! You're in my prayers for sure.

I've never taken my car to the track, so I'm sure I'll have a good time. I just gotta get some time behind the wheel and learn how launches on the track work so I can get my times down.
