If you can drive you might pull mid 12's without to much of a problem. Sticky tires of course.

I think its high 12's. Most of what you have are bolt ons and dont really show the power gain til you add nitrous, turbo, cam+ heads, etc. Although you have drivetrain. Its doesnt sound like your engine can produce and breathe out the power. maybe a set of ported heads will slip you into the low 12s but without them I think is gonna be 12.8

I beg to differ, i know i couldve hit at least 12.60s on 245 50 16 street tires before my 10bolt broke
as far as power goes with boltons, 338RWHP 366RWTQ

If you can drive good and get a 1.9 or better 60' you should be able to hit 12.70s consistently. i was on 245 50 16 street tires. slipped clutch quickly at 3500-4krpm ... with stickies and your gears especially i dont see why you cant hit low-mid 12s

thanks for all the info, yeah the next step is cam, a lot of people seem to waste money on the heads and cam not producing the power for the money IMO, hence i am getting 12's with what I have got and when cam only comes, 11's, my heads should push me down in the low 11's so...heads and cam = 12's is pathetic IMO

I have LT's an ORY-Pipe, Cut-out, Tune, Air-Lid, and a 4.10 gear in my automatic and spun through second on street tires and hit 12.60's all day long.

A set of sticky tires and I gaurantee that I hit 12.50's or faster pretty easy.

Leave street tire PSI alone. They don't have soft sidewalls or softer tread compared with drags or slicks. Run the street tires at 35psi and don't do any long burnouts with them either, just do a quick spin to clean them off and you're good to go.

Street tires use a different compound than drag radials and slicks. But by all means, if you want to do a burnout with street tires go right ahead. Whatever works best for you.

I always heated up my Yokahamas and they gripped better than they did without a burnout. As for the time....I hope you get into the 12s, ****, I ran 12's stock. Going to the track again in a few weeks and shootn for 12.4s or lower with only exhaust, lid, and tb. 12.53 last time out with a sub-par 1.96 60ft. Still has ALOT left in the car. Good luck man!

yeah heres a vid of today:

http://media.putfile.com/Good-start-in-14-mile

the track had no traction in it what so ever so i am not going to mention my times because they are disgraceful lets just say in the other two runs the gaurd rail at the 1/8th mile was tryin to get my autograph so i let out of it, so quick question how many of you are running traction control on? or off?

good news my 1/4 times were quicker then the c5 auto vette out there as well as this with a 427 with 460 crank!

Without a doubt run it with the traction control off. I can't beleive you didnt hit 12s!! My uncle ran a 13.1 in his 00 SS M6 bone stock!! With that list of mods you should be well into the 12's!

I myself havent been to the track yet.

Just noticed your on the 245's, all I can say is heat em up real well and don't launch to crazy and it should be no problem.
