best way to get here?

i just bought a stock 1998 A4 z28, and i am already savin up for a SLP lid, and a catback (undecided). and i was wonderin what else would i need to get here?

Wrong, you don't need a stall to get in the 12's. Yes, it will help, but is not needed. Here is all you need.

Good reaction time
Good 60' time
Drag Radials
Lid
Good flowing Cat-back (I like the Hooker)

This should at least get you a 12.9 & then if you wanted to throw on some LCa's w/relocation brackets, Panhard bar, & LT's you could be mid 12's without a stall. Suspension, tires & good driving can get you there without ever pullin the tranny.

For The Last Time Your Reaction Time Has Nothing To Do With Your 1/4 Time At The End Of The Track!!! Reaction Is Just How Long It Takes For You To Tripe The Laser. Your Time Doesn't Start When The Tree Hits Green, It Start When You Trip The Laser. I Could Have A 5 Second Reaction Time And Still Run 12's Cuz It Doesn't Matter.

this is true, but I was making a point that the reaction time will eventually come into effect. Givin the reaction time, everything else I listed will directly effect his time. I just feel gettin a good reaction time is a good thing to work on while tryin for a better E.T. Cause even if you get to where you can run a 12, what good is it gonna be if you can't get off the line fast enough?? I guess if your lookin to just get a good E.T. not worring about R/T is fine. But if you want to be consistant for when someone is lined up against you, then I would consider all things I listed a good way to get in the 12's & stay there, go deeper in the future with more mods & win races.
