I ran 275/50 15's, 255/60- 16's but no 17's or 18s. I think it might be partially bad track prep. Some nights are good and some are bad. If u can avoid using far lane, try to get one closest to staging lanes that one ALWAYS gave me better 60's. That old 87 had those 275's and a 3000 stall and 3.42's and that pulled high 1.8's low 1.9's all day long. Just have to heat them up even more.

The next time I race I think I might sit there a little longer doing my burnout. It's not like I quick spin them and pull up to the line, but maybe a little longer won't hurt.

I was talking with a guy that races, and decided I'm probably going to go with a Strange 12 bolt with 4.30gears, 15" wheels and do my suspension. He said I have enough motor for now with my trap speed at 117.97mph.

I'm looking into buying a set of Weld racing wheels this winter. I want to do 15x10's and I'm not sure up front. Either 15x5 or 15x3.5.

I'm thinking about going to Maple Grove one more time this year before I park the car. My rear is starting to make too much noise and I can't stand it. I'm thinking of going the 30th of this month. Not 100% sure yet.

Thanks, but I'm hoping too be out of the 12's soon. After this winter I'm hoping to have a new rear , and suspension done to get my 60' down to where they need to be.

Problem is trying to figure out what brand of suspension I want to go with and also what rear. I'm currently leaning towards a Strange 12 bolt. Sometimes I wouldn't mind getting a 9'' though.

I'm thinking I might go with the Moser rear and 4.30 gears. Hopefully I'm not tacking too much at the end of the track.
