i dont really get it. you're worried about slicks on your stock transmission?
a stock trans in good shape will handle slicks just fine. the stall will put some heat into it at the line. put a cooler on it and you should be just fine.
i'm running my stock, albeit rebuilt transmission. but my car has 135K on it, and it was rebuilt at 100K and i've been spraying it since about 115K. I recently installed a B&M shift improver kit, and raised the line pressure in the computer using TTS mastertune.

i didnt run slicks before the rebuild.
i didnt even spray it before the rebuild actually.
i've been running slicks for about 8 months, been through about 10 bottles on this setup, seems to be holding up pretty well. esp. after my shift kit install
