darren i really hope that its not the converter...i just got it restalled when i got the tranny rebuilt. the weather was slightly warm, maybe 80*. I was running at sealy, which had just been converted to 1/4 mile.
and i dont see why i wouldnt be running at least 12.7...esp since i had already ran a 13.2.

With the power you put down, you should be trapping at least 113, gears are not your problem. Seems to be a tuning/transmisson problem. Your Shift points should be around 6400rpm with a peak at 6100rpms. Gets some nittos or bfgs and you should be pulling 1.7x 60's all day long. Seems like the engine is making power but transmission won't let you. Get that checked out and good luck.

Look for anything out of the ordinary. Is the converter flashing to right RPM? is the shift quick or does it hesitate? Is the shift extension where it should be? Does it shift at the right RPM on both 1-2 and 2-3 shifts?
If the transmission and Converter both check out then you may have no choice but to strap it back on a dyno and see if it's still making the right power or if something happened and A/F is off and pulling timing.
That's what happened to me. I added a converter and I actually got slower at the track. I went from 105 traps to 101 traps. When I finally strapped my car on a dyno it showed a very lean AF. I was pulling so much timing that I was only making 270 rwhp. A few adjustments and the addition of LT's and I now run the times in my sig.
Good luck.
