I know a couple guys that have 03 GT's with full bolt-ons, tune, tires, and 150 wet nx, and run 12.8's one lucky 12.7 run.

hmm...seeing as this is a gm forum and you drive a ford, you might have to add a little detail about your setup before we take you seriously...

Some guy that is from another town 30 miles away has claimed to run 11.55 with a basicly stock 4.6 GT with suspension, slicks, and 150 shot. On a 1.55 60ft. I have no clue about the legitimacy of this, but this came from a Mustang Dyno shop, shop owner. He put headers on this week. I would like to see that in person, seems nearly impossible!

Well that wouldnt be outa the question. As a mustang owner and have many buddies who have stangs i know it is capeable. One of my buddies has an 02 gt with a full drag suspension full exhaust slicks and 411 gears he ran 12.8 in the 1/4. He only had about 20 rwph more than stock. So im guessing with that big 150 shot if he could hook up and keep the power to the gournd im guessing high 11's would be optainable. But as far as 11.55 i would have to question that, he might be exegerating a tad.

If your referring to my post then you must have not read it. I posted ALL of that info with the exception of mph which I was not informed. Hey, I really don't give a **** either way, I think it's pretty far-fetched as well, just relaying what I was told....

106 mph doesn't take a hard launch for a 12 sec pass. I believe it, not because I own a ford. Now if he said low 12 w/ 106 mph then I'd question. -Mark

you guys are a harsh crowd..i think the number is believable. Give him props we all know how hard it is to get a gt into the 12's J/P...but i do agree more info would be nice jsut for reference sake such as 60ft 1/8th etc..

I was thinking more along the lines of mods on the GT rather than the 60' or 1/8th.

uhh no im not referring to you, im reffering to bottlefed03GT, I wanted to know his mods, im assuming he did this w/ the gas, and not on the motor but I wanted to hear a lil more detail than "hey I have a mustang and I ran a 12.9XX...."

With a 106 trap speed I highly doubt he was spraying. Even on a small 75 shot a 2v should trap around 109-110ish -Mark

Good to hear. What are your mods? There are a lot of Mustang haters here, so just ignore what the haters say.
