Default 12.52

Two weekends ago I went to Virginia Motorsports Park and made two passes. The first was 12.57 @ 111.21 and the second was 12.52 @ 110.93. The mods on the car are Pacestter LT's, ORY, SLP loudmouth, SLP lid, UMI TQ ARM Relocate, UMI TQ ARM, MOSER 9 INCH w/ 4:11, Stage 5 spec. These were the mods on the car when I bought it. The car has factory tune and 95,000 miles, just curious if these are decent times. The car feels really strong but I can always use an EDUCATED opinion. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

my 60ft for the 12.57 was 1.89 @ 3500 dump. The track really wasn't prepared that well. The 12.52 60 ft was 1.79 @ 4000 rpm dump, a decent improvement. I am very happy with the car, just want to see how far I can take with these mods. Thanks for the reply man.

those are good 60's. much better than mine. with more practice you could get real close to the 11's.

Hell, I hope so. I would love to get into the 12 teens or 12 oh's with just what I have now. Hopefully this october, november air will help out a little. I am gonna try a 5000 dump and go up from there. I would like to see my 60ft atleast in the mid 1.6 range. I will definitely post any improvements on my current times. Later.........

Congrats. What tires do you have? What shocks do you have? The right shocks make a huge differance.

Those are nice numbers, but I would recommend that you come up to Richmond Dragway. My car is always at least two tenths and two mph off from my times at Richmond when I run at VMP. I am not sure why, but I also know a couple of other guys who's cars are always off as well. I would come up to Richmond on a Sunday. They run two time runs and then it's bracket racing. The track prep is just as good as VMP and it's very laid back. A example...my car ran a best of 12.37@ 107mph 1.65 60ft last friday night at VMP. The week before at Richmond on their street night it went a 12.18@109mph 1.61 60ft. I don't know the DA of the two nights, but the air felt very similar on both nights. Give Richmond a shot and see what kinda times you put down.

Steeler71, I appreciate man. I will make my way over to Richmond Dragway. I know they have a Track Rental Friday but I found out a little to late about it. Hopefully they keep the track open into November. I used to run at that track pretty regularly with my other car, its been about 3 years since I have ran there. I'm sure it hasn't changed much. Have they fixed that dip in the left lane near the traps?? Hey man, anytime you know of any track days or test and tune, please PM me bro. Later......

I love Mickey Thompson tires. I have the ET drags.

QA1's are fine. I had good luck with the QA1 single adjustables. I had the F series front and rear and cut a best of 1.308 short time. You will be able to dial them in and improve your short time.

I have AFCO double adjustable's now but they are pricey. But they do work awesome

At least get the QA1 r's for the front.

I will definitely give the QA1's a try Tom. Those are some awesome 60 ft times man. Hopefully some shocks will help me knock a tenth or two off my 60 ft times. When I get a set and start testing I will let you know if I have any gains. Appreciate the advice, Later.........
