traction problems...

Default traction problems...

i've running low 13s at 115mph... how do some of you lauch your M6 cars w/o spinning??? i know i should be doing low 12s with my car... please help?

better tires.........maybe 3500 and slip the clutch.....you just got to fight it.... when I got my new tires I started at 2000 slipping the clutch then worked my way up. ended with a 3200 clutch drop. didn't spin but the clutch slipped a little

i spin the tires that way. i've got bfg drs in the rear now. i had m/t.

Is the car lowered? What suspension setup do you have? What is your 60 FT? I do the same thing as the other guy said and it works for me.

haha im in the same boat as you i should be flirting with low 12's easily but cant even get low 13's, but i do have street tires and stock suspension so that doesnt help any nor do i have sub-frames or anything else like that.

Try some LCA relocation brackets and good tires.

With 4.10s, re-loc brackets and tubular lca's on a 255/50/16 BFG drag radial i'd slip the clutch @ ~4400 and cut 1.7 sixtys

With the same mods on a 245 street radial i'd slip the clutch at 3200 and cut 1.9s

the key is slipping the clutch not just dumping it

i've got the 255/16 bfg drs. i've talked to ryan from umi and he said the relo's are a good for non-lowered cars b/c it still changes the center of gravity... but i still think i really need some eider tires...

what kind of numbers are you making to cut those numbers? i only cut 2.1 60s

slipping as in keeping rpms at 3200 and letting of the clutch slowly at the same time?
