Bulletproof rear trans seal 4l60e

First, use the Teflon bushing and make sure that the driveshaft yoke is polished to a mirror finish in direction of rotation. Second, install the "triple" lip Vamac rear seal. This seal is superior to the normal rear seal that most outfits sell. Easily indentified by the seal have three lips instead of one. Have installed several hundred and have sold several hundred in my rebuild kits over the years, with "no complaints".

Anyone have the directions and part number or where to get the Teflon bushing?
Where to buy the triple seal and part number?

The seal is the 4th one down here.
The bushing is on the bottom here.
The problem is finding this locally, most parts guys look up a number on the computer and give you the box with that number on it. If you say Vamac they're not going to know what the hell you're talking about. (thats a Dupont trade name for the rubber material).
When you do get the parts do as PBA said. I also like to put red or blue loctite on the OD of the seal, wipe the tailhousing bore clean with brake cleaner. Grease the ID of the seal and put the tail housing back on.
