WTB/WTT 09 G8 GT for a WS6
Hey there guys and gals,
My first car was a 96 SS Camaro and I'm looking to get back into an f-body.
I currently own a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. It's Magnetic Grey Metallic and has 18,000 miles on it. Title in hand.
I won't be able to purchase anything outright as I am in college so cash is tight. I'll have to sell the G8 first or you and I will have to trade.
As the title of this thread states, I'm looking to get into a WS6, here's what I'm looking for
-Must have black interior and exterior
-Must be a 6 speed car. Cant stress this enough. NO AUTOS
-Must be clean and well taken care of, not interested in cars that have been beat on.
-Not interested in full race cars, I am in college and this will be my daily driver. I am however looking for something nice and quick, 4-500 at the wheels range.
-Mods are a plus. Brake kits, full bolt ons, H/C/I cars are welcome.
-Lets try to keep the mileage under 100k
Show me what you've got boys and girls!

Same to you, those black rims look excellent. KBB is almost 28 but I'm a realist and I understand it's only worth what someone else is willing to pay.
That being said, I don't think the 26-27 range is unreasonable for a clean, well maintained, low miles car.
Forgot to mention in the OP that I refuse to run anything but Amsoil in my vehicles.

That's a pretty decent price considering the mileage and the mild mods you have done, very tasteful. Also under GM Warranty too which is a plus. I saw your original FS thread. Those Solo exhaust set ups sound amazing on the G8s, did you do an x pipe or delete on mid section?
I have my car up for sale, just haven't posted an ad on the forum. Not sure if it really catches your eye or not, but pretty much meets what you are looking for. I pretty much have most of the records for the car, not in a big rush to sell. But the more I see the G8s, the more I get the itch. Ready for something different. Thanks

It's not one of SOLO's off the shelf systems. It starts up at the cats where before the muffler, there is an a "T" balance pipe. That feeds into a 14" stainless steel muffler. Then there is an additional X crossover that feeds into 2 stainless resonators. Each outlet is fitted with adjustable J-bend's at the end to eliminate any drone and can be custom "tuned" by changing the length of the adjustable J-bends. It's capped off by dual 3.5" tips on both sides that fill out the GXP diffuser quite nicely. I'll add some pics so it all makes sense.
Sorry the pics of the J-bends are blurry, taken with my phone.
