Default Project OVRKILL: The BLING Phase!!!

As the motor build phase slowly comes to a close, the vehicle assembly and detail process will commence. For those not entirely familiar with the motor build feel free to check the sig for details. For discussion purposes the motor is a Virginia Speed built RHS 460, Mast C5R heads, Marcella Intake, etc...

Anticipating the new bullet hits the dyno in next couple weeks as planned, delivery in March, etc, I will be posting the fun stage in the details that “complete the picture” over the next couple months. Many of the boxes littering my basement waiting for installation include:

Fikse Profile 5 (18x9.5 and 11)
UMI upr/lwr control arms
UMI K-member
CTS-V Brakes
Brembo rotors

Under hood cosmetic plans include some powder, plate and hydro which will be shown as completed. At the minute the car is in the body shop for a little bay clean-up:

Pretty good attention to detail in the engine bay! I need to do that soon. Great work!

Comin' along great man, I LOVE those wheels. I didn't know people used CTS-V brakes on our cars, do they take any modifications to fit?

Thanks!!! First 4th gen with this wheel finish option. Pretty stoked about installing them. Color in person is incredible....

Brakes bolt to the stock spindle, couple little misc items but pretty much a bolt on.

...in that case, might want to look into sheathing the entire engine bay with Cor 10 steel...

Sick build! Love the wheels I will have the same ones some day.

Are you keeping a/c? If not are you going to take out the section of the heater core that extends in the engine bay? Now would be a good time to do it if you are.
