Default Your time is better spent....

Your time is better spent looking up a way to make an easy and low-cost LT1 -> LS1 swap wire harness....

not going to happen though

Why? Spend the money on converting some SBC 2.2's or going with a Brodix setup....the power is in the heads/cam and you can't argue with the ability of some converted SBC to have amazing flow.

Imagine entering that motor with a set of converted sb2.2 on a big 106mm in the ls1tech series, I think so many people would **** their pants.

Yes we mind you asking, dont pull that **** again, asking an actualy inteligent question, go make a LS1 Vs Lt1 post instead.

j/k

Welcome to LS1tech, LT1s unlike Gen I and Gen III have cam driven water pumps, that why there is no pulley on the pump. It has its problems though, mainly in the form as they age, parts wear and cause oil leaks.

the only aluminum lt1 block was a very pricey option for the 92 firehawk.. i believe there are two firehawks with this option and it is an aluminum 366cid race block.. not sure on the stats but i bet its hard as hell to find

well first of all it's Impala and he's not the fastest yet. Jorge Perez owns the fastest Impala at 9.98s @140mph w/ traction problems. The guy that owns that aluminum block is trying to break into the 9s using a 4l60-e, the standard PCM setup, etc. He's running a blower on the block and is prolly pushing some serious power
