Default F1C Procharged GTO

I think(not certain) I am the only GTO with a Procharger blower other than the P1SC or the D1SC. So I took teh plunge and went for the F1C. I figured it would take some serious fab work to make fit, but I was wrong. She slid in like butter. The car pulls insanely hard right now with the previous tune from teh D1SC setup.

So anyways...
Here you go...
Well i went ahead and did the F1C swap tonight. And yes it fits with very minor modification!

I got on it in 2nd gear on an on ramp and went from vacuum to 6psi before 3500rpms! This blower is a great improvement!

And now for the installed pictures...

Looks good. Now get it tuned and get to the dragstrip before DBlue beats you to the 10s.

I am done until teh new motor arrives. I considered slapping on the 4.25" pulley and having it tuned though. And I still might do it if I can get Formato in town to do it for me. Who knows...

Looks real good and at first glance in the installed pics it just looks like the d1sc. I bet you'll surprise a lot of people with that thing in there now. What are the specs on the new motor that's coming?

It would be nice to see a comparison run between the D-1SC and the F1-C just to see the area under the curve.

The F1-C flows 2000 CFM with 5.1 step up ratio right?

Much louder than the D1 unit. Of course it is making more boost and has no filter too so that could attribute to the sound a bit.

This is on a stock LS1 with a cam upgrade. But this was not intended to be driven, the only reason I did the blower swap on this setup was to test fit it because no one had done it and I am the first. So I wanted to see what would need to be done to make it work before I swapped in my 408 setup.

Yep! Especially without any intake tubing. It will rock the house though!

Already sold the D1, and it only fits the GTOs anyways, so your not missing anything.
