if you want to run a smaller cc head than stock, yes.

Specs, good luck on getting those.

I have an LS6 block, 383 eagle crank.
AFR 205 Heads with a G5X3, looking for MAX power w/o flycutting my pistons as that will involved another teardown.

the G5X3 specs were "secret" and its well known its 234/242, hopefully somone can get an X4 measured soon...

X4 doesn't follow the step like the X2 to X3.

He means the G5X2 is 232/240. And G5X3 is 234/242. People assumed that the G5X4 is a 236/244, which would follow the pattern. But it doesn't follow that "one step up" pattern.

As far as I can gather:

X3>>> 234/242 112/114 LSA
MS3 >>> 237/242 choice of LSA (111/112/113)
X4 >>> 240/244 111LSA (Like a MS4 on XE-R or should I say MS4 is like a G5X4 but with LSK lobe on intake)

does anyone know if the G5X2 cam is 50 state emissions????
no way, but in some states where only OBDII code checks are done and no sniffer it could pass.
