Hmmm....
Kettle pot black...
Dave's knock off of the TNT Power Rings
Dave's knock off of the Jimmy Jam Ashtray Switch
Dave's copy of the LS1 Head Mount Solenoid Bracket (Copied from ls1tech user)
Dave's copy of f-body Halo dry kit (ls1.com user built one and posted picts)
Dave's Knock off of the TNT/Racetronix Custom Wiring Harness
Dave's Knock off of the Ny-Trex/NX Hybrid Wet Nozzle
Dave's Knock off of the TNT Dry Nozzle
Dave's copy of the NOS plate (they did have a ls1 wet plate first and to suggest that the HSW plate is a copy of yours is the only reason why I bring this one up)

Thats great.. This is the best creative pile of monkey turds I have even seen posted.
I guess I need to stop paying the guys that work for me in product development the money I do. You mean all this time I could have just set here and waited for a member of a web forum to post something they made. This means all the money we spent designing, testing, and building innovative products were a total waist of money. The customers that loaned us there cars on exchange for free parts were all tricked into thinking we were really keeping there car all night so that we could work late hours into designing products off of there car when we were really layed up at home with our wife and visiting with the kid like normal people are doing.
You mean to tell me that all the efforts we put forward to building unthought of products like our dedicated fuel systems that you shamelessly built a crappy knock off of was something we probley copied from some on else.
Get real. This is not my style or the etchics in which we run our company aoround. I can personally have the customers post here that we used there cars to build and test our Halo, solenoid mounts, Nitrous Plates, dedicated fuel systems, custom switch panels, etc.
All of our products were built and designed from scratch. We have never ordered other companies products like you have to copy...
Did you ever think that customers made some of there own versons of our products after seeing ours and then posted it as something they built in order to save a few dollars. I have seen it happen.
All the bull____ aside the only thing that we have ever built that was questionable to some one elses product was a 90mm nitrous collar at customers request. This was only because TNT would not make them and people were calling us left and right to make a 90mm verson. So we did and it turned out not be be the best idea I have had. So you have me on this one...We made something similar to some one elses because they did not offer it at the time.
On another note. We were the ones that designed the innovative ideas like our dedicateds, nitrous plates, solenoid mounts that we offer.
I am done in this post as it is going to just get worse as a stone throwing contest...
Now I must get back to trolling on the web to copy some joe blows garage knock off of something.
Have a good day
Say what you want. Im done here. You and I both know who is telling the truth.

I dont mean to break up this debate but i was in the same situation as the OP and i bought Nitro Dave's plate. I havent sprayed it yet but the quality looks good.
I was trying to wait for the HSW plate but i couldnt wait any longer.

I would post up the popcorn icon, but when the A/C is running in the garage, AND I cook popcorn in the microwave, it pops the breaker...then the garage just gets hotter...
WOW thats kinda a metaphore me thinks...

Frankly, I don't give a **** about the arguement. I have seen people blatenly steal other peoples' stuff. Even on this site. It gets you no where to argue it though. Leave it to the courts.
Can anyone post up pics of the nozzle arrangement so I can compare it to my NOS plate? Plus what is the thickness of the Dave Outlet plate? What type of jets can you use in it? NOS flange style?
Thank you.

Sometimes the truth stinks huh Dave
(had to say it)? Just so I have it right, so Jimmy Jams knocked off your ashtray switch plates?
So I guess DERTY knocked off your DP rail brackets too then...
Everything on the list is on a message board with post dates, and none of them were customer cars of yours, nice try though. It's really simple, don't throw stones then Dave. It seems you always try to stir the pot with your used car salesman tactics, and they always end up like this. If you don't like stones being thrown back then don't start throwing them to begin with.

LOL,
Thats weak... You are so full of bullshit its not even funny.
We have made and designed more products than you will ever dream of copying.
I am a truthful person and have always been. Some people may not like what I have to say but I can tell you its the truth.
I have been plumbing and working on Nitrous cars before you even thought about taking your Daddys money and opening that shop of yours. We were making custom solenoid brackets to hold solenoids all the way back then. I am sure I am not the only one. We just finnaly decided to make one to sell to everyone. I cant help some individual had built one for himself just like we had thousands of times...
As far as the rail brackets. I have never seen any Rail brackets from Dirty. Im not saying he did not make some before we did. Im sure if he says he did than he did.. I bet he had a nice part afterwards.
During the course of plumbing all the bad *** directports we do with custom work we needed some sexy looking brackets to hold the rails when using braided hoses. To be honest with you a buddy of mine that worked for NX came up with the idea of the billit rail brackets and was kind enough to let us use it. We never claimed to be the designer of rail brackets.. But while we are on this subject show me some of the bad **** directports yall have done... Ohh wait there is none. You know why because that is not as easy to COPY.. Its takes more talent than money.....
Here is some of ours incase you missed them.
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/installs/index.asp
Now I cant take credit for all the work on these intakes. These intakes are a result of team work. Ofcourse this requires hiring a full crew of people and having a real nitrous store. But hey we must be doing something right for people like you to always be swinging from our nuts... Why dont you just start calling me DADDY.
Now you know Your brother Nick is the one that started getting personal. So dont Cry when I come back with something..... I can do this all day long....
My post was purely technical about the course of R&D when designing the plate you guys liked enough to TRY to build a plate off of... You can go ahead and pat us on the back now... You do know what R&D is right. It dont mean order someone elses product and knock it off. It means come up with your own idea and see it through to a finished product.
You must have really liked our multi discharge, Factory O-ring gasket and seeing the plates we mounted the solenoids directly to. Your plate still cant not compete with the sexyness and quality of our plate design.
You must have really liked taken a short cut and coping the components that we reasearched for a great number of hours to come up with a all in one dedicated no one had even thought of. ( Your dedicated still can not compete with the sexyness and quality of ours. And you had a finished product to copy.
The solenoid brackets.. Well like discussed above I am sure tons of people had made some custom bracklets while doing there installs. We just simply made one we though was a great design to see if it wouyld be a seller. Well you must have thought that was a great idea as well since you followed behind like usual.
Lets talk about custom switch panels. Another thing we had been making for years...
We realeased the GTO switch panel before any of our other switch panels if I remember correctly. Then other designs followed.
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...del=82&dept=11
I have not seen one switch panel that could compete with our design's. Lets talk about the ashtray F-body since that is what you ware saying we copyed from jimmy jams. Ours is nothing like theres. The only similarity is that they both go in the ashtray.
Ours Pops in place being held by the factory tabs. Sexy Led light switches. Two piece design, Black annodized alluminum with laser etching.
Thats right Matt... WE go for the top end of quality and style and watch you guys struggle to figure out how.
So you make all the fullish claims you want. We both know the truth... We set the bar for you guys that can not be creative on your own. Like I said you may start calling me your Daddy...

Dave, would you take it the wrong way if I threw my panties at you?
I'm not much of a huge poster in this forum. I'm more of a "local board" type of person and remain a huge reader on this site. From what I've seen, Dave came out with his fuel system way ahead of the pack as well as his plate, switches, and a few other things.
I'm sure there have been people who have fab'ed up some brackets in their garage...(me being one of them) and they look close to what Dave or some other people carry. Hell, I used a metal press and bent up some of my own custom fuse box covers and decided I would sell a couple. Now, Speed Inc has the exact same thing offered at their store. I don't think either ripped off the other or copied the design. I just think some people were thinking on the same track. People rarely have a unique idea for a product that no one has done before in some shape or form. I don't knock either dealer for their parts that are being offered to the Lxx community. It's just more choices for the end user and the customer wins either way.
I've called Dave probably a million times and although he was slammed busy, he has walked me through steps, sent parts that got here within two days, gave me advice, helped me design a system from scratch, worked with me on custom anodizing before anyone else was doing it, recommended sizes and AN fitting part numbers for my "custom" application and probably a few other things that I'm forgetting. He never got mad, annoyed...that I could tell
and was always very helpful (Chris too just recently with the money maker kit)
For that reason alone, they have my business.
It's like a local crack dealer. When he was the only crack dealer on the block and always had the good ****, you continue to go back...even if new dealers with different kinds of crack come along.

Boy…you sound a lot like another sponsor that was banned from this site. He brought personal bashing to the table when it was a debate on product. I guess it really hurts when the truth be told. I still don’t see how that’s not copying someone else’s idea? Maybe its different if you copy another companies idea? So, I would like to see an explanation as to why your dry nozzle is a exact replica of TNT’s dry nozzle? I guess you should be calling David your daddy then if we’re using your train of thought? And maybe you’ve been riding his coat tails for this whole time? I don’t know maybe just a thought is all that is.
I think you do have a few of your facts mixed up though…HSW is located on a 7k sq ft facility which houses an in house dyno for R&D, 3.5k sq ft worth of install space, 2k sq ft of sales floor and 1.5k sq ft worth of equipment. But I guess that’s not good enough for a nitrous store. Maybe we should move into a portable storage facility and work out of a 1k sq ft. strip mall shop? Is that a real nitrous shop? We have multiple employees at HSW. Most of which handle the packaging and installation of parts. Just because Matt and I are capable of handling the nitrous end of things means that we have to hire someone else to make it a “team”? I don’t fully understand this. It makes you better that you have 3 people working for you? I think you need to get off that high horse you’re riding and quit posting what you’ve heard through the grapevine…you would be pleasantly surprised to know that the majority of what you’ve just said is not true.
Back to copying your plate…So you say that you had a 2 piece design that was never released to the public. If the public never knew about it, how the hell would I have? How is it even possible for me to copy something that you had hidden away? This makes absolutely as much sense as your take on perimeter spray. It just doesn’t hold the water. Maybe you can take a fluid dynamics coarse or ask your engineers about pressure differentiation, vortices, and turbulence. Maybe then you’ll understand why I introduced this design to the market. When you introduce a cross axis flow, vortices pop up spiraling parallel to that same cross axis. By shifting this axis as close as possible to parallel, the intake charge is far less turbulent. Again I’m more than happy to look over any data you’ve collected that suggests that our 2 piece design is of less quality, thought, or function than yours. And please do not compare it to anything that you failed at manufacturing. Apples to apples. And you said our plate cannot compare to the sexyness and quality of your plate…well you said it yourself in your first post in this thread “However it does add a ohh factor in the fact it creates a cool looking circular pattern”. I’ll be more than happy to put ours side by side so you can see the machining quality of the plate. That’s all for now…I gain nothing from this post except lost time. I would however suggest that you get your facts straight prior to you posting. Makes you look better when you know what you’re talking about.
The 90s will be going out any day now; they have been up on the site for pre orders:

The 78mm ones are still a little off, they are still in manufacturing. Pricing will be around the same as the 90mm version.
Thanks,
Matt

I have said all I have to say. You guys just keep pulling crap out of your *** and im sure you could keep going all day. I have lowered my self to your level and said what I have to say. Now I am moving on.

Geez guys, thats an aweful big pissing contest you have going there. i can appreciate a certain vendor(s) having pride in their products. that makes me a more confident buyer. but lord, you guys are really turning me off as a consumer with these posts. i can tell you from a consumer's point of view that i normally dont care who invented what etc.. i just want a good part or a good system. i personally have bought nitrous parts from both of you, and all of my parts have worked out great. i can understand the close competition between all you nitrous vendors, but please, spare the customers these types of arguments i dont think any of these posts are boosting either one of you over the other. my current boss who has been teaching me alot in the world of GM parts has alot of good advice, and the best one so far is that "not one person knows everything." so cant we all take what has been presented by all of you vendors for a better end product? thats what a free market is all about. Thanks, im done now.

damnit i was enjoying it thoroughly
I Have spent lots and lots of time and money Dave and the guys at Nitrous
Outlet. The fact is that they were just stating a fact about there product because someone asked. I did not see in no way that they were putting down anyone elses product. My car has an NX direct port on it from them and i have been a major pain in the rear im shure from calling and trying to get everything together i needed but everytime they are more than ready to help and help me with what i need know matter what it takes and how long it takes and are nicer than my mother. I would much rather work with the guys at Nitrous Outlet for this reason alone but there products have more than proven there selves time and time again. If other companys want the business they should treat customers like they do instead of getting on here and bad mouthing them when they were doing know such thing. Once you do business with them you will always.
Keep up the GREAT service guys at Nitrous Outlet !!!
