2) 2-piece 3" Pacesetter ORY modified to fit
3) SLP Loudmouth exiting through 4"dia*22" long Magnaflow tips
4) None
5) HP Tuned

1) SLP l.t. headers. (pretty)
2) none.
3) SLP Loudmouth and Loudmouth II for when my head hurts.
4) SLP high flow cats
5) SLP Predator for 455 bobcat setup.
6) never dynoed.
7) Runs great but Loudmouth has some really bad cabin drone around 2100 rpm and depending of course on engine load. The Loudmouth II is much better for daily driving and still has a great exhaust note. The 455 Bobcat setup also includes the 1:85 rockers and new valve springs, 160 thermostat, K & N filter and special tune from SLP for the predator. Their web site has all the details.
8) Definitely would reccommend.

06' GTO
LS 2, 6 speed.
LT1 still sounds better

1) Jet-Hot LT headers

3" X-pipe (speed inc) dumped

3) ---Dynomax bullet mufflers. Plan to upgrade to Sweet Thunder chambered mufflers.

4) no cats

5) LS1 speed tune

6) 385 rwhp, 361 rwtq. Cam only stock head A4 '98.

7) 4k stall speed converter matches the MS3 (237/242 .603/.609 113) very well. For me it is a fun daily driver. Times in sig (7.59 1/8, 11.92 1/4) were run on ET Streets, stock suspension, no front sway bar, and a TCI SSF4000. Have replaced TCI with a Yank SS4000, and made a few other small changes, since that run....which was in June heat. Only 'run' with the Yank shattered the rear end and I could only afford to replace it with a stock 10 bolt...so no more track for awhile.

8) Highly recommend. Sounds incredible at idle and large throttle openings (>4k RPM). Only sounds mediocre at partial throttle between 2-3.5k rpm when converter keeps revs constant, even when shifting.

Jet Hot Long tubes
2.5" X-Pipe
Over the axle, into Borla Xr1's

Dyno tuned b4 duals on full bolt-ons, stalled A4 was 332/340. Defintely noticed an increase in power all throughout the powerband afterwards.
Would recommend this setup to any one!!!

1) stock manifolds
2) stock Y
3) 1 chamber flowmaster dumped before the axle.
4) stock cats
5) Had a TSP rumbler before this and did not change the tune when I went to this setup and had no need to.
6) no time on the dyno
7) Its a very basic setup. take an extension pipe and clamp t onto the stock y pipe. clamp the muffler to the extension pipe and use a hanger and the rear seat belt bolt to attach a hangar for it.
8) I would for sure recomend it.. its inexpensive and sounds wicked for a stock manifold stock cats and y car and is very light weight too. not many down sides except it hangs down a bit but the rumbler also hung pretty low too.

Pics..

but I did make a sound clip.

As a comparison here is a clip of my previos exhaust the TSP rumbler.

Update 7/9/07!! I have a video of a 20-75mph run..

1) Jet Hot Ceramic Coated 1-3/4" Headers
2) Texas Speed True Duals
3) Sweet Thunder Mufflers
4) No CATS
5) No tuning currently/will do once more mods are complete
6) No dyno sheets, but it really woke the car up; completely new car now
7) I was very pleased with the Jet Hot Headers. They are basically the same as Hooker headers, but they also carry a 3 year warranty on the coating. For only $40-50 more than Pacesetters you can't go wrong. I have a buddy with Pacesetters and after 2 years my headers look way cleaner. No rust to speak of and I live in NY (even though the car isn't driven in the winter). Very easy to install as well. No notching of the K-member required; they just slid right on up there. Overall the install took about 8 hours, but this was my first time changing an exhaust system on any car. If I did another LS1 car with the right tools, I could get it done in probably 4-5hrs. The Texas Speed true duals are a great alternative to a catback and at the same price. For those with no problems with emissions regulations in their state or for those of you who can get the inspection passed this system is a great bang for your buck system. Very free-flowing exhaust with the large 3" tubing. No rust on the pipes. The mufflers are unbelievable! The chambered mufflers are reminiscent of the muscle cars of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Can tell no difference between my buddies Bullets and my Sweet Thunders at WOT. The big plus over Bullets in my opinion is the refined and slightly tamer sound when driving normally (under 2500rpm). Overall the set-up cost about $950 including everything (headers, exhaust, O2 extensions, new GM gaskets, etc.)
8) Highly recommended to any Camaro/Firebird owner!

Default another flowmaster

1>pacesetter race style long tubes
2>custom ory
3>3" cutout
4>stock catback with flowmaster welded in
5>mail order tune

I love the sound has a little drone at cruising speeds .....id highly recomend the pacesetter headers...they tookroughly 3hrs to install..the ypipe took a few hours to make it to suit me....if you use a flowmaster get a cutout because they dont flow as well as other mufflers....3 wing nuts and you have open exhaust...or go electric.....the car has been tuned also...havent been to the dyno....
heres a sound clip

Default Pacesetter LT, Magnaflow Cats, Dynomax Bullets H-pipe

Pacesetter Coated LT's
Custom H bought kit from Summit Racing
Dynomax Bullets 2.5"
Magnaflow 3" Cats
Dynotune w/out rear O2's
Unknown dyno gains

If you're not worried about a few HP go for the H-pipe it sounds way better. Purchased most components from Summit Racing, dropped it off at Apache Muffler Inc. in Mesa to be completed. Total cost 374. I have a body mount Torque arm so the H-pipe is kinda wierd, but no rattles, hardly any drone very nice sound while just cruising.....then amazing sound at WOT
8)Def Recommend.

I've got Kooks's LT's
Kooks's catted-y
Magnaflow exhaust
3" cutout right before muffler sometimes open
Corsa clone tips
Basic dyno tune
Full bolt-on's

The Corsa clone tips added a nice bubbly volcano sound under mild acceleration, not too loud at idle, nice V8 growl under revs.

I don't have any dyno numbers but everything added a little bit here and there.

With the cutout open, it just sounds like a shitty dumptruck under normal driving, but on startup and WOT, just like a Nascar. Cutout closed, nice and quiet inside, cutout open, all hell breaks loose.

Pricey Kooks headers, but fitment is top notch. I would recommend this setup to anyone. I can get whatever volume I want at anytime.

1) kooks 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8
2) X
3) no cats
4) no cats
5) speed inc. tuned it after install and replaced the spark plugs.
6) unfortunately I couldn't get a dyno.
7) I originally wanted magnaflow mufflers because I knew sound was going to be an issue. Unfortunately, magnaflow fucked up, and Speed just put their regular race magnums on. It's loud! But I'll live with it.
8) hell yes, but you need some earplugs

1) Kooks 1 7/8 Race headers
2) Kooks ORY
3) A rigged up flowmaster 1 chamber off the Y pipe
5) Retuned myself using HPT and WB O2
6) no time on the dyno
7) Its pretty loud has an odd not to pleasant rasp kind of sound from 2500rpm and a pretty high pitched scream at WOT. not too bad inside the car at all but it is loud.
8) ehhh... the rigged up exhaust sounded great with the stock manifolds and cats but uhhh.. not a fan of it on LT's and ORY. I would not recommend it.

Added some pics of the setup.. I may be going back to the Y but with cats later.

Yes I just posted above.. I just changed the exhaust today.

1) Kooks 1 7/8 Race headers
2) None
3) a flowmaster 1 chamber clamped onto each header with a turndown.. no crossover pipe
4) none
5) Tuned myself with HPT and a WB
6) no dyno time
7) Very light weight setup. No rasp at all but its downfall is its LOUD.. especially in the car. I love how it sounds though. Very mean sounding and ground clearance is not all that bad. Pics later..
8) Yes I'd recommend this for a drag setup its super light weight and sounds halfway decent. Not soo good for a daily driver like my car unless you wear era plugs all the time.. lol.

Pics..

Drivers side.. I have a hangar rigged in there to dampen vibration and help support the exhaust.

Pass side..

**** Update 11/05 New video idle walk around and a couple revs..

View Video on FQuick

4 deg timing pulled at idle chops it up a little... yes its still a stock cam.

Update.. 02/24/08 I'm still driving this setup daily.. Its actually not all that loud with the windows closed windows open though its silly loud. finding out that because of the turndown/outs on the car its pretty quiet from behind. loud as sin from the side but I just keep any cops I catch up with in traffic in front or straight behind me.

1) American Racing Headers 1 7/8"
2) American Racing X pipe 3"
3) GHL Bullseye
4) American Racing High Flow
5) Dyno tuned
6) +19rwhp +17rwtq
7) Overall I like the set up quite alot. At idle the sound gets your attention yet isn't obnoxious. At wot the sound is awesome and you really feel the extra power. At about 1500rpms in 5th you do get some drone. Other than that it's all good.
8) Sure
