Default How does this look?

The kit is not near done yet..just a got the main line ran, solenoid in a good spot..and nozzle installed.

How does the nozzle positioning look? Robert56? other dry kit guys? I'm going to get it on a dyno before I spray it too make sure it's not too lean...

That hole I used for the solenoid bracket was already there..I'm guessing for a TCS box? I tapped it and used a stock LS1 header bolt...perfect fit!

Assuming your nozzle is a 90 deg. shooter, it's not too bad. You just want to make sure you're hitting the wires good. The distance looks pretty good to me.

It's a 70*...I'm pretty sure it's aiming at the wires...going to double and triple check everything before I button it up.

Yes that bracket is a bitch, to the point where I gave up and got the spare tire mount.. which didn't fit without a hacksaw... Anyway your nozzle is in almost the same position that mine is in and its a perfect shot. I couldn't get it to a dyno but I started small and worked up to a 150 shot in her now monitoring AFR the whole way. Needed to adjust the MAF a little up top but I won't see airflow like that when I'm on the motor so I figured it was better than changing my nozzle position.

Yea, I agree, it looks like an optimal position. Your smart for going slow and making sure things are correct as air dynamics can be crazy. Nice clean install and am sure things will work out. Once you get things squared and know the a/f, shoot me a pic with details as i would love to add this to my nozzle pics for info purposes for others seeking known good locations/combos.

Sure thing Robert!

Hopefully I can get on the dyno Friday...but I'm definitely not going to rush anything...just a little bit of wiring left.

Well, from a lot of pictures I've seen, and from measuring, a few people install it how I installed it... I've been told have the nozzle 3-5" from the MAF..and might is right at 4"

Um...The whole point of a dry kit is to spray through the MAF and have it add the fuel required by sensing the increased air density/cooler intake temps.
