Overheating turbo trans am
Overheating turbo trans am Ok PT88 turbocharged 402 LS3 with an Ohio forced inductions radiator...
Car will not stop overheating! Cap is good, thermostat is good, I can feel the water pumping through the upper hose into the rad, and out the lower back into the motor, I have forced water through the surge can untill water comes out of the vapor tube on the heads, the interior heat works. etc. Anyone have any issues with the OFI radiator? its 3" thick, and just as wide as a stock radiator and 70% as tall.
I just wish this **** would quit overheating so I can get the tuning finished and make some friggen power already
wierdest part is, I drove it 20 miles without issue parked it for an hour
drove it 1 mile, pulled over and shut it off to pull out the T-Tops, and when I shut it off, only then does it start overheating!

I talked to him for a second the other day and I'm pretty sure the issue was resolved, but I forgot what it was.
You get any good dyno or track time yet? I think HRP is only open one more weekend before they close for a while, that is if you'd come down here.

overheating.... His problem was an Overflow problem..... he didnt have a catch can.. when he would turn the car off it would push out water... nothing was major wrong with the car ... few small leaks and working out the bugs ... Its been his Daily driver for a month or 6 weeks now...........
