Default 408 vs 413

I am in the process of ordering my rotating assembly for my new engine. The two that I am now comparing the TSP 408 rotating assembly with the SDPC 413 assembly. It will be a LQ9 block with mildly ported 241's and a Thunder Racing Stroker cam. I would like to eventually spray the motor with atleast a 250 shot. Thanks for the help.

I would go with as many cubes as you can get. Given the cam specs is it going to be an N/A motor?

not good advice when considering pistons speed and stroke to rod length ratio. consider issues like wrist pin position, ring placement, compression height.

bigger is not better.

I have read that the 413 isn't as good for a nitrous motor because to accommodate the increased stroke, the wrist pin is moved further up in the piston and reduces the size of the top ring. Can anyone verify this because if this is true. looks like the 408 is my best bet.

BTW mods, not sure if this is in the right location but if not please move to correct forum.

I don't know the specs on the 413 but you can always run a shorter rod to gain ringland meat. On a FI motor lots of people sacrafice rod length to get increased ringland distance.
Gator knows what he is talking about when it comes to N20 motors, but being a NA LS1 guy myself I'd say go with all the cubes you can, until you run into overheating issues due to thin cylinder walls, then just back it off a touch.
