oil routing in lsx blocks

I have a post in internal engines, thought maybe someone here could help.
I beleive it would work if the front or rear fitting extended past the oil galley or the front to back oil galley that feeds the oil filter was pluged. I think that is what is refered to in the second pic, push past feed and plug the galley behind the feed??

Yes it will work. As long as the divider is not removed from the galley and the factory filter holes are plugged. All you are doing is substituting the remote filter for the factory location. I see no issues with it.
