427 with 15psi of boost run on gas/E85/meth/nitro hp differences Ok been doing some thinking if you have a 427 with 9.5 to 1 compression running 800rwhp with 15 psi of boost on pump gas. not changing any thing but fuel and tune what would be the change in HP ?
With E85 ?
with meth?

just a guess but we have played around with e85 a little and meth a little.
e85 +5%
meth +10%

some things to keep in mind. e85 from the pump varies from e70 up to e85 so your tune may float around a little depending on the season. might look into e98 if you can find it. i think we can get e98 in bulk but you have to know the right person.
we tried meth but didn't go nuts with all the correct fuel system stuff. we did use meth rated pumps and filters and injectors but used push lock hose and lots of aluminum fittings and rails. after a few months we took the fuel system apart and the rails had a shitload of yellow slime in them. now we are running e85.
e85 smells great at wot.
