Exclamation Timing Chain Dampener Material?

Hi - I was recently contacted by another LS1tech member who had an interest in reproducing timing chain dampeners for Gen3 SBC motors. We were thinking Nylatron GSM may be a good material choice, but were wondering what type of material GM has been using for their LS2/LS3 timing chain dampeners (specifically the LS2)? Is the LS2 timing chain dampener made out of Nylatron GSM, or something else (PEEK)?

Two of the possible material choices I thought of were Nylatron GSM (due to its availability) or Nylon 4.6 (Stanyl - due to its excellent material properties).

Anybody "in the know," please chime in?
