ls1 maf to ls3 maf ? need tune ?

So therefor instead of beating around the bush and asking some backwoods guys Im coming to you ...
my set-up is a victor jr. with 92mm Tb now Ive heard from countless people the ls1 maf will not work properly with this set-up? need to switch to ls3 maf or "bar" maf and have car tuned???
some clearing up on this for me would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure about the ls1 MAF not working, but anytime you change your MAF for another one, change intakes, intake tubes, or sometimes even just cooking the MAF in a different position in the intake flow can change your readings, so yes if you do anything with it I'd get it retuned...but at the point your at why not ditch the MAF and just run speed density?
