Oil Priming a new LSx engine after its installed in the car.....HOW..???

when you prime from the front port like the video shows, alot of oil back flows through the oil pump. You need to drain the pan and refill primer multiple times while turning the motor over by hand occasionally to ensure oil goes through each push rod/rocker just like SBCs

If the engine is in the car, you can use the oil port at the back of the valley cover . It will not make a mess or reintroduce air into the system as much as priming through the lower feed as shown. JMO
