need help!!!! I have a 99 Silverado rcsb 4.8 and I was looking to purchase a new t56 and my concern is it has a 31 spline output . can I just get a new slip yoke for a 31 spline that will adapt to my stock drive shaft . I know that sounds like a ford spline but the info on the tranny is for a ls t56 with 26 input and 31 output just woundering cause ive been doing my research on this t56 swap and its

I have never had a driveshaft "yoke" problem as it is supplied when I buy a Magnum

im located in Prattville Alabama , im going to a t56 from a 4l60e I believe that the yoke spline is a 27 on output and I don't want to buy a used tranny so ive been lookin and all the new tremec t56s have is a 31 output that I can find . is it possible to just change just the yoke that uses the same u joint as the stock 99 Silverado 1500 2wd rcsb that has 31 spline

ive also seen a 31 spline yoke with 1310 u joint its hard to find out which u joint is in my drive shaft with me doin research , instead of the parts guys asking a bunch of questions and not having what I need to compare so if I knew what u joint I have then I can go from there in order to see what yoke I need for the tremec t56
