5.3Cam recommendation Hey guys,
Long time lurker, first time poster. Looking for a cam I can throw in for a 5.3 I picked up cheap. I have a set of the ls6 springs I was going to use on a SBC build, but went a different direction. I’m currently building a 38 Chevy and am only looking for a cam that will “shake the windows” when cruising by. I’m not looking for max HP or torque. Not looking to quarter mile this thing. Just a head turner that sounds good. There is a metric shi* ton of cam info out there, but was wondering if you guys had recommendations. Keeping this a budget build so hopefully no machine work or as little as possible.

The Cam Motion "little chopper" checks all the recommended boxes... except valve springs. This cam closes the intake valve early to build dynamic compression for bottom end torque. The narrow 108* LSA will give you overlap for that chop chop idle. PAC 1218 springs will handle the .595" lift.
