Hi, VERY easy way to increase rod bearing oil flow.
This is an Indy car engine trick/mod.

Do you have pictures- diagrams- bleed hole sizes in common use ?

Any OE using this tech ?

Default MAIN way to "steel" oil

Main oil squitters REDUCE rod oil cooling flow.
I ALWAYS would grind/machine oil slots in the rod half (top side), directing flow to the piston crown. (11:00 and 1.00)

Nissan and the VK56. Pics courtesy of the Nivlac57 video about these engines. Look at the hole inside the rod. Then look at the boss by his pinky, that's where the oil comes out.
