Apparently somone dropped a 2026 Escalade out of a C-130, and clocked it's freefall velocity at 236 miles Per Hour.
Did the parachutes open?

The 2026 Escalade is a truck that will never go over 105MPH due to tire limitations.
That aside, neither the 6.2 nor the optional electric drivetrain will ever do 236 MPH in stock form

Lance, I’m GUESSING that GM is putting a twin turbo V-6 in the Escalade? That is what Caddy is serving up for F1, I believe. The Gen6 platform that’s on the way uses some cool performance tech that’s refreshing to see used. I’m glad to see pushrods…at least in the 6.7 V8 anyway. Both port AND direct injection is good for keeping the valves clean. Performance numbers are impressive in the rumor mill.

OK, this puts it all together! Here Lance talks high speed Escalades and F1 within the same breath and I'm wondering where this convo is headed! LOL!
NOW I can talk coherently with him (we're on the phone occasionally...) when he brings this up.
Sometimes it almost resembles a convo with Christopher Walken (sometimes more on my end...), but always a good time!
Thanks for clearing it up!

. Lance: You appear to have a LONG, interesting tenure in the leading edge of Automotive racing technology, with a VAST wealth of stored knowledge on internal combustion dynamics, ignition physics, gasflow, and thermodynamics.
IF your usage of the word "VOTE" means anything: I vote that your future posts be deeper with explanation of internal combustion concepts, and less speaking in riddles.
.
No disrespect is intended
