Lance, I’m GUESSING that GM is putting a twin turbo V-6 in the Escalade? That is what Caddy is serving up for F1, I believe. The Gen6 platform that’s on the way uses some cool performance tech that’s refreshing to see used. I’m glad to see pushrods…at least in the 6.7 V8 anyway. Both port AND direct injection is good for keeping the valves clean. Performance numbers are impressive in the rumor mill.

NOW I can talk coherently with him (we're on the phone occasionally...) when he brings this up.
Sometimes it almost resembles a convo with Christopher Walken (sometimes more on my end...), but always a good time!
Thanks for clearing it up!

. Lance: You appear to have a LONG, interesting tenure in the leading edge of Automotive racing technology, with a VAST wealth of stored knowledge on internal combustion dynamics, ignition physics, gasflow, and thermodynamics.
IF your usage of the word "VOTE" means anything: I vote that your future posts be deeper with explanation of internal combustion concepts, and less speaking in riddles.
